Jeff Wood | CEO
Jeff is an industry veteran who has been at the forefront of the online advertising world since its inception. Prior to co-founding aiMatch, Wood was vice president of publisher sales at Microsoft Advertising after its 6 billion dollar acquisition of aQuantive. During his time at Microsoft, he helped close key customer deals including Viacom and WhitePages.com.
Jeff was also a founding partner and vice president of sales at Accipiter, a leader in online advertising technology. He was responsible for significant revenue growth and international expansion for Accipiter, which held dominant positions in US, Europe, Australia and Japan.
While at Accipiter, Jeff was regularly called upon to share his online advertising expertise through a variety of technical white papers; bylined articles in publications including iMedia and MediaPost; and speaking at industry events held by the IAB, Mediapost, AdMonsters and ABM.
Jeff also served on the board of directors for Accipiter, and was an active member of the Internet Advertising Bureau, sitting on its measurement task force committee. In addition, Jeff was an associate member of the Online Publishers Association.
Guy Taylor | CTO
As a software veteran with 20+ years experience, Guy has spent more than a decade of that architecting and leading innovation in online advertising. Prior to co-founding aiMatch, Guy co-founded Accipiter in 2002 and served as the company’s vice president of R&D until its acquisition by aQuantive in 2006.
At Accipiter, Guy was responsible for the company’s design and development of industry-changing ad serving solutions. Guy’s team modernized the approach to inventory, reporting, and delivery systems which eventually revolutionized the company’s flagship product with the release of AdManager V8. That release included enhancements to the GUI and ad decision capabilities that showcased a number of industry-firsts such as enhanced campaign optimization algorithms, tiered priority segmentation, campaign containers and session-based behavioral targeting.
Guy has been recognized for other industry innovations, including the industry’s first behavioral targeting engine, and the first publisher registration point for ad networks to automate publisher acquisition. At Accipiter, he led integration and custom development efforts with strategic and technology partners including Akamai, Digital Envoy and others. He also led the company’s efforts to localize its technology for global markets by enabling support of multiple languages and working with global customers and partners to meet specific cultural and/or regional needs.
Guy managed technical integration efforts during Accipiter’s acquisition of BidClix in 2006, and the company’s own acquisition by aQuantive later that same year. He stayed on with aQuantive, and eventually Microsoft, continuing to lead the AdManager technology team.
Prior to Accipiter, Guy held software development roles at Organon Teknika, Nortel, Data General and Engage Technologies.
Guy holds a Masters in Computer Science and a BS in Statistics, both from North Carolina State University.
Ryan Treichler | CVO
Ryan's online advertising career spans more than 10 years, bridging the gap across product, sales and management. Prior to co-founding aiMatch, Ryan spent four years at Accipiter where he filled a number of roles including technical services, sales engineering and consulting, sales and reseller management.
Ryan led Accipiter's international expansion, starting with one customer in Australia and expanding to claim three of the top five publishers in that region. Ryan served as the primary liaison with the company's partner in Japan, to introduce its products there and convert some of that country's largest publishers to the Accipiter platform. He also managed resellers and customers in those regions.
Previously, he led the company's consulting, training and sales engineering efforts and helped win marquee customers including iMedia, Cars.com, and others. He also served as a member of the IAB Measurement Task Force and the Games Committee.
Ryan played a key role in Accipiter's acquisition of BidClix 2006 and its own acquisition by aQuantive later that same year. At Atlas, he continued to play a key role in the day-to-day sales process, working hand in hand with sales team to win new business. With the next acquisition, he made the transition to Microsoft where he managed a sales consulting team, leading cross-training and thought leadership efforts for the geographically diverse group of industry experts.
Prior to Accipiter, he pioneered Engage Technologies's training efforts for rich media, mobile and XML, attracting customers from all over the world.
Steve Perks | General Manager, EMEA
Steve Perks brings more than twelve years of sales and management experience in the online advertising industry to aiMatch, having started his career at the beginning of ad serving and behavioral targeting innovation in Europe.
Perks most recently served as Head of Publisher Solutions, EMEA, for Microsoft Advertising. There, he led the commercial team responsible for selling the Microsoft Publisher Suite of products across all EMEA territories with a sales presence in major markets including the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. During that time, EMEA clients numbered over half of the top fifteen accounts for Microsoft Publisher globally.
Prior to Microsoft, Steve served as Sales Director EMEA (Publisher) for Atlas Solutions following his time as Sales Manager at Accipiter Solutions where he closed deals with a number of premium UK publishers including Autotrader, Associated Newspapers, Haymarket, Bauer and ITV. At Accipiter, he was also responsible for signing the company's largest global client and expanding the customer base into new territories including mainland Europe, The Middle East, Africa and Asia. In addition, he helped drive the development of new products and services based on EMEA customer demand and industry trends.
Steve's career also includes sales management positions at ValueClick and Engage Technologies. He holds a BA in Business Studies from Staffordshire University.
